Job summary

ms consultants is seeking an experienced Architectural Technical Service Manager to join our Building Systems team in Columbus, OH (or Pittsburgh, PA). You will lead and mentor the Architectural staff, ensuring high-quality technical deliverables are provided on time and within budget.

The role offers exposure to a diverse range of projects within an in-house multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to explore new technical areas such as energy modeling and 3D scanning, while collaborating

Qualifications

• Oversee growth and development of Architectural staff with regular meetings.
• Set annual development goals and assess team capabilities.
• Assist Project Managers with proposals focusing on scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee professional growth of the Architectural staff and conduct monthly 1-on-1s.
• Manage team technical skill sets and development goals.
• Assist Project Managers with proposals, focusing on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Complete quarterly reports on hiring, efficiency, turnover, and project performance; target 80% staff utilization.
• Develop alliances with sub-consultants to enhance service offerings.
• Maintain a professional network to attract talent.
• Collaborate on expanding into new technical areas like energy modeling and 3D scanning.
• Participate in industry events and write technical articles with marketing support.
• Oversee technical quality standards and resource loading for upcoming projects.
