Job summary

Western States Metal Roofing is seeking an experienced Architectural Representative to expand its presence in the architectural and design community in the Dallas area. This role focuses on developing relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, consultants, developers, and other decision-makers to increase specification and use of Western States products on commercial and residential projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with architects, designers, specifiers, contractors, or construction-related orgs.
• Experience in architectural building products, metal roofing or wall systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of the architectural spec and construction process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, developers, and contractors.
• Identify opportunities to specify Western States products in projects.
• Work to have products written into architectural specs and project documents.
• Deliver architectural presentations, product demos, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
• Educate design community on metal roofing, wall systems, finishes, colors, and applications.
• Assist firms with product selection, specs, testing info, samples, color choices.
• Follow projects from design through bidding and construction stages.
• Maintain a pipeline of projects and spec opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales to ensure project progression through bidding/purchasing.
• Build repeat specifications and long-term opportunities with architectural firms.
• Identify upcoming projects via relationships, databases, and market research.
• Maintain CRM records of contacts, specs, projects and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Estimating, Technical, Production teams.
