Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Architectural Sheet Metal Installers near Scottsdale, AZ. You will install exterior metal siding and architectural sheet metal panels on large facilities and aircraft hangars.

You will measure, lay out, cut, fit, and fasten metal panels from drawings and specifications. Work safely from lifts and scaffolding; maintain quality and finish on metal trim, flashing, and joints. Pay is up to $32 per hour, with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on commercial experience hanging metal siding and sheet metal on large commercial buildings or hangars.
• Able to work productively as part of an installation crew.
• Experience measuring, laying out, cutting, fitting, fastening, and finishing metal panels.
• Direct experience hanging sheet metal/metal panels on commercial or industrial buildings.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings and panel layouts.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; comfortable working from lifts at heights.
• Pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install exterior metal siding and architectural sheet metal panels.
• Hang and install large-format metal wall panels and related systems.
• Install metal trim, flashing, closures, and caps.
• Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and fasten sheet metal.
• Install panels per drawings and project layout.
• Align, level, and plumb panels for a finished appearance.
• Seal panel joints, seams, penetrations, transitions.
• Perform field cuts and modifications as needed.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, fasten and install panels.
• Work from lifts, scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms.
