Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. in Phoenix seeks a skilled Sheet Metal Installer to join our team for commercial/industrial metal roofing projects nationwide. You will install, repair, and maintain metal roofing systems, inspect conditions, and collaborate with the team to ensure safety and quality.

Applicants should have prior sheet metal experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, possess tools, and be comfortable at heights. Excellent teamwork and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a sheet metal installer or foreman is preferred.
• Proficient with standing seam roofs and metal roofing materials.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is highly preferred and valued.
• Reliable transportation and own basic tools are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain metal roofing systems on commercial/industrial buildings.
• Safely handle and transport roofing materials and tools.
• Inspect roof conditions and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and drawings.
• Cut, shape, and weld metal sheets to fit roof structures.
• Apply sealants and waterproofing to prevent leaks.
• Operate hand and power tools including welding equipment.
• Uphold safety and quality standards on sites.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects efficiently.
• Troubleshoot leaks or structural concerns and communicate updates.
