Job summary

Trillium Construction is seeking Apprentice Ironworkers near Scottsdale, AZ to support the construction of a new Flexjet private aviation terminal and aircraft maintenance hangar. Apprentices will learn under journeymen while gaining hands-on experience in structural steel erection, rigging, and miscellaneous metal installation on a large commercial project.

The position pays up to $32 per hour with a Mon-Fri schedule, 40h+ per week.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on commercial ironworking experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen with erecting and installing structural steel components.
• Help unload, organize, and stage structural steel materials.
• Install bolts, clips, decking, and miscellaneous metal components.
• Assist with aligning steel members during crane picks.
• Use hand and power tools to prepare, fit, and install structural components.
• Perform layout measurements and material handling as directed.
• Assist with rigging operations and safely guide suspended loads.
• Install temporary bracing and maintain safe work areas.
• Help install stairs, railings, embeds, and support steel.
