Scope Of Position

Responsible for growing sales by creating demand through specifications and developing, strengthening, and expanding relationships with architects, designers, GCs, subcontractors, and engineers as needed.

  • Identify, qualify, and generate project leads to build a pipeline of opportunities within the territory.
  • Create specification volume that meets or exceeds sales targets.

Represent CS's core values of Creativity, Solution-driven approach, and Integrity, maintaining professionalism and knowledgeability to ensure successful and profitable outcomes.

This position covers the Atlanta territory. While remote, residence within 45 minutes of Atlanta's center is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Generate and improve CS basis of design specifications in the territory, tracking and closing sales to drive incremental sales and margins. Support strategic projects outside the territory as needed.
  • Engage early in project design, track opportunities in CRM from bidding to closure.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new project leads into the pipeline.
  • Track projects in design and bid/close projects, aiming for closure within 12 months.
  • Use CRM to capture accounts, contacts, and activities.
  • Influence design choices with key project influencers to specify CS solutions, creating multi-product specifications.
  • Leverage CS's competitive advantages throughout the sales process.
  • Update and create specifications to expand CS's presence in the market.
  • Collaborate with local representatives and architects to expand coverage and avoid redundancy.
  • Develop relationships within the architectural and design community, including contractors and engineers.
  • Recommend product solutions and service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Utilize CS team resources effectively for product sales within the territory.
  • Understand installation concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Align CS value propositions with customer and project needs to differentiate CS from competitors.

  • 1-3 years of experience in construction, contracting, or related industry.
  • Strong desire for applied learning.
