Architectural Sales Consultant (REMOTE - living within Los Angeles territory)

Position Scope: Responsible for increasing sales by developing relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and engineers within the Los Angeles territory, creating demand through specifications, and expanding our market presence.

  • Identify and qualify project leads to build a robust pipeline.
  • Develop specification volume to meet or exceed sales targets, representing CS’s core values of Creativity, Solution-driven approach, and Integrity.
  • Engage early in project design, track opportunities in CRM from bidding to closure.
  • Influence design choices and specifications, leveraging CS’s strengths and differentiators.
  • Collaborate with local representatives and design community to expand coverage and relationships.
  • Recommend product solutions and service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize CS team resources effectively for sales success.

Location & Travel: Must reside within Los Angeles territory. Travel approximately 15% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in construction, contracting, or related industry.
  • Ability to read architectural blueprints.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of the commercial construction process and architectural specifications.
