Job summary

VIVA Railings is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales initiatives and expand market presence across the construction sector. You will engage with architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and property owners, leveraging consultative selling to foster relationships and increase brand penetration.

You will develop relationships with architects, ensure contractor prequalification, bid on projects, and negotiate to close deals while maintaining up-to-date CRM records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial building product sales.
• Proven experience in sales targeting General Contractors and in specification & consulting sales to Architects.

Responsibilities

• Architect engagement: develop relationships with architects and introduce products with customized solutions.
• Contractor relations: ensure prequalification with general contractors and bid on projects.
• Sales and customer interaction: respond to inquiries, conduct meetings and product demos, provide quotes, close deals.
• Consultative relationships: build lasting relationships with contractors, architects, and designers to identify opportunities.
• Market strategy & reporting: track opportunities, monitor competitors, maintain CRM records, report market insights.
• Quote management: manage quotes and follow up to maximize conversions.
• Territorial strategy development: develop market strategies for comprehensive territory coverage.
