Job summary

Little Diversified Architectural Consulting in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking a Project Manager for its Community Studio. You’ll lead education projects from start to finish, collaborating with Principal and Sr. Designers to meet client goals.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in design, CA architectural license preferred, and proficiency in Revit/SketchUp. You’ll manage budgets, schedules, consultants, and coordinate with partners across moving parts to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university.
  • 8+ years of professional design experience; 3+ years of project management experience.
  • CA Architectural license preferred or on registration track.
  • Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies with understanding of multiple project typologies.
  • An emphasis on California schools and higher education projects involving DSA required.
  • Strong organization, communication and presentation skills are a must; and
  • Proficiency in Revit; SketchUp, and programs used to prepare presentation documents such as PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage education projects from beginning to end.
  • Primary client relationship duties with Principal and Sr. Designers to achieve client goals.
  • Focus on Project Management for an ongoing body of work.
  • Manage support staff and consultants to produce and execute extraordinary work.
  • Client interaction, proposal writing, budget and schedule management, team coordination, consultant coordination and quality control.
  • Work will include design, production and construction administration responsibilities.
  • Some travel will be required.

Ideal candidates will have the following Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited university;

  • CA Architectural license preferred or on registration track;

Anticipated salary range for this position: $100,000-135,000; this is an estimation, but actual salary will be based on experience level.
