Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage architectural projects from initiation to construction completion.
  • Serve as primary client liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop designs, specifications, estimates, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors.
  • Produce construction drawings and 3D visualizations.

Job description

CWG Architecture + Interiors – Helena, MT (On-site)

We’re looking for an Architectural Project Manager to guide projects from initial client conversations through construction completion. You’ll lead work ranging from small community builds to complex facilities, balancing design quality, technical delivery, and client satisfaction. This role involves managing scope, budgets, schedules, and team coordination while building strong client relationships. At CWG, architecture is both challenging and rewarding—you’ll take on complex projects within a supportive, collaborative culture that values people as much as design.



Responsibilities


  • Manage small to large architectural projects from start to finish

  • Serve as primary client liaison throughout the project lifecycle

  • Develop and present designs, specifications, estimates, and schedules

  • Integrate engineering and building systems into project plans

  • Produce detailed construction drawings and 3D/interactive visualizations

  • Lead contract negotiations and documentation with consultants and contractors

  • Coordinate with builders during construction to ensure design intent and quality

  • Ensure sustainability and code compliance across all deliverables

  • Mentor staff and Architect(s)-in-Training, setting clear professional goals

  • Contribute to CWG’s collaborative culture and long-term client relationships



Qualifications

Accredited professional degree accredited by an architectural board, such as a NAAB accredited 5-year Bachelor of Architecture or a Master of Architecture


5+ years of professional experience in the United States


Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills


Proficiency in:



  • Autodesk Revit

  • Autodesk AutoCAD

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Enscape

  • Microsoft Office Suite



Bonus Skills (Preferred)

Licensed Architect (Montana or eligible for reciprocity)


Familiarity with architectural costs, billing, and budgets


Understanding of billable rates and scheduling


Knowledge of BIM coordination tools (model management, clash detection)


3D modeling with SketchUp or Rhino


Advanced rendering tools (Lumion, Enscape, Twinmotion, or D5 Render)


Experience with VR or immersive visualization
