Job summary

CWG Architecture + Interiors in Helena, MT seeks an Architectural Project Manager to guide projects from design through construction. Job description

The Architectural Project Manager is responsible for guiding projects from the preliminary design phase through construction completion. This position coordinates internally with Project Architects, Interior Designers, Architects-in-Training, and BIM Technicians, as well as external owners, contractors, consultants, code officials, and other municipal officials.

The Architectural Project Manager will:

  • Collaborate with other members of the office to explore and develop design concepts that respond to client objectives.
  • Prepare 3D models (utilizing Revit) throughout the design process as a tool in visualizing and presenting design concepts.
  • Lead the team in the preparation of construction documents and ensure the project progresses in accordance with schedule commitments.
  • Provide quality control to ensure the project is in conformance with building codes and consistent with office standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Assist in resolving complex technical and design issues.
  • Coordination with consultants to ensure a complete & accurate set of documents.
  • Effective time management and accuracy of documents.
  • Provide support for any tasks required for the successful completion of our projects.
  • Work with state and local agencies and contractors through the building process.
  • Dedication to junior staff development.
The ideal:

You will have:

  • Experience with additional programs including Autocad™, Sketchup™, Speclink™ and Photoshop™ is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with project team members, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to prepare a full set of construction documents.
  • Knowledge of project specifications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of building codes and experience with agency processing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and flexible.
  • Resourceful and willing to bring and share new ideas.
  • Interest in growing individual talents with project experience, continuing education, and career growth.
