Job summary

Stiles Corporation seeks an Architectural Project Manager to lead multiple commercial architectural projects from design through construction administration. You will coordinate between Stiles Architectural Group, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with design intent.

The role requires a professional architecture degree and extensive experience, with Florida licensure as a plus.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (BS, B.Arch, M.Arch).
• Minimum of 7 years of professional commercial experience.
• Architectural license (State of Florida) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural projects from programming through construction documents and administration.
• Serve as the primary architectural point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal units.
• Develop programming and design concepts for varying complexity, including site planning and interiors.
• Lead the preparation of construction documents, directing Project Assistants and coordinating outside consultants.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and overall execution; provide field observations and clarifications.
• Oversee administrative and financial aspects: budgets, contracts, consultant agreements, and payables.

AbouttheRole

TheArchitecturalProjectManagerisresponsibleformanagingmultiplecommercialarchitecturalprojectsfrompreliminarydesignthroughconstructionadministration.ThisroleservesastheprimarypointofcoordinationbetweenStilesArchitecturalGroup,clients,internalbusinessunits,consultants,contractors,andmunicipalities,whileoverseeingprojectdesign,documentation,schedules,budgets,andoverallexecution.TheArchitecturalProjectManagerwillprovidehands-onarchitecturalexpertisewhiledirectingtheworkofin-houseProjectAssistantsandcoordinatingoutsideconsultantstoensureprojectsaredeliveredsuccessfullyfromdesignthroughconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Managemultiplearchitecturalprojectssimultaneouslyfromprogrammingandpreliminarydesignthroughconstructiondocumentsandconstructionadministration.
• Serveastheprimaryarchitecturalpointofcontactforclients,consultants,contractors,municipalities,andotherStilesbusinessunits.
• Developprogramminganddesignconceptsofvaryingcomplexity,includingsiteplanning,buildingdesign,andinteriorspaceplanning.
• Leadthedevelopmentandpreparationofconstructiondocuments,includinghands-onproductionasneeded,whiledirectingandsupervisingProjectAssistantsandcoordinatingtheworkofconsultingengineers.
• Manageprojectschedules,deliverables,consultantcoordination,andoverallarchitecturalprojectexecution.
• Provideconstructionadministrationservices,includingfieldobservations,drawingclarifications,shopdrawingreview,productapprovals,permittingissues,andcoordinationbetweenconsultantsandcontractors.
• Managetheadministrativeandfinancialaspectsofassignedprojects,includingprojectbudgets,clientcontractsandnegotiations,consultantagreements,andapprovalofaccountspayable.
• Leadprojectmeetingsandpresentationswithclients,governmentalagencies,consultants,contractors,andotherStilesbusinessunits.
• ApplyastrongworkingknowledgeofFloridazoning,building,life-safety,andotherapplicablecodesthroughoutthedesignandconstructionprocess.

Qualifications

• ProfessionaldegreeinArchitecture(BS,B.Arch,M.Arch)withaminimumof7yearsprofessionalcommercialexperience;understandingofconstructionmethodologies,detailandstructuralsystems.
• ArchitecturalLicense(StateofFloridaregistration)aplus.

RequiredSkills

• Strongunderstandingofarchitecturaldesign,developmentofConstructionDocumentsandConstructionAdministration.
• AutoCADRelease2014(minimum)ispreferred.BIM/Revitexperiencedesired.
• Mustunderstandconstructionmethodologiesandsystemsandhaveabasicknowledgeofmechanical,electrical,plumbingsystemsinabuilding.
