Job summary

Interplan LLC, located in Altamonte Springs, FL, seeks an Architectural Project Manager to lead projects from concept through construction documents in the commercial retail and restaurant sectors.

The role reports to an Architecture Program Manager and involves mentoring CAD Drafters and Project Coordinators, managing budgets, coordinating with MEP and civil disciplines, and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering compliant design documentation.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in commercial architecture, with emphasis on restaurant and retail projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred.
  • Strong client communication and interaction experience.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also driving independent results.
  • Knowledge of building codes and MEP systems required.
  • Software proficiency: AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Office; Revit experience a plus.
  • Licensure or path to licensure not required but considered a plus. We support IDP/AXP requirements and pay for licensing exams upon successful completion during your tenure at Interplan.

  • Lead client communication, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.
