Job Title: Project Manager - Architecture

Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all project efforts, both administrative and technical, to bring projects to fruition. This role serves as the primary liaison for multi-family, retail, and mixed-use projects, and involves coordinating design efforts among an internal team, which can range from 2 to 8 people. The Project Manager will also provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering their growth and professional development while managing project budgets, schedules, and programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all project efforts, administrative and technical, to bring projects to life.
• Serve as the primary client liaison for multi-family, retail, and mixed-use projects.
• Coordinate design efforts among internal team members, ranging from 2 to 8 people.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff, serving as a resource for growth and professional development.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and programs.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Project management experience on applicable projects such as multi-family, commercial, and retail.
• Proficiency in Revit required.
• Experience in construction document preparation and construction administration.
• Skills in project coordination, schematic design, design development, architectural design, and client communication.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must hold an accredited degree in architecture with 10-15 years of experience.
• Must be a licensed architect or on the path to obtaining a license.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills needed to mentor and train junior staff.
• Experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and retail projects is preferred.
  
  

Work Environment

The firm offers a hybrid work schedule with four days in the office and one day remote. The office is an open-concept space filled with natural light, located in the vibrant West Loop area with numerous nearby restaurants. The team maintains a lively, fast-paced culture with a strong sense of community involvement and a work-hard, play-hard mentality. Expected working hours are flexible, typically from 8-9 AM to 5-6 PM, requiring communication with the team about start and end times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.30 - $55.29/hr.
