This is an Architectural Project Management role – individuals with IT Project Management experience would not be considered for this position.
Our client, an architectural design and planning organization, is looking to hire a Technical Project Manager to join their team in Downtown Chicago.
REQUIREMENTS
Senior Technical Architectural Project Manager
10+ years experience in architecture.
Project management experience - Manages time and expectations for self and team members.
Clear communication and coordination with internal and external team members.
Able to present oneself professionally, positively representing the firm to clients and contractors.
Able to review drawings and specifications meticulously for accuracy and quality.
At required times, provide hands on detailing support and participation to meet project deadlines.
Desire to learn and to tutor junior staff.
Stays current with industry trends, adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
Strong understanding of and experience applying building science to design and detailing.
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
Experience with building codes including energy codes.
Experience with permitting.
Experience with COMCheck.
Command of life safety and ADA compliance.
Able to travel to sites requiring overnight stay.
Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
Revit experience.
