Architectural Project Manager needed for immediate REMOTE consideration in the MidWest region of the US for a 3-4 month contract assignment!
The right person will have a Bachelor's degree in architecture with 8+ years of related project management experience. In this role, you would review and potentially manipulate current retail floor plans, defining plans supporting layout for existing retail stores, remodels and projects as assigned. Under general direction, this role will provide design implementation, technical and professional support and finance management.
This person will have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) along with previous Architectural Project Management experience working in a related industry. Must be willing to travel regionally less than 20%

responsibilities:
- Provides professional management in all areas including administration, planning, scheduling and staff coordination.
- Coordinates and oversees concurrent projects involving a number of teams.
- Serves as project liaison to staff, executives, consultants, vendors and contractors. Identifies project conflicts and issues and negotiates resolutions.
- Assures budget, schedule, scope, standards and quality are defined and remains within requirements.
- Works with team to ensure compliance with federal, state and local code requirements.
- Manages the design process including review of design for completeness, coordination of departments, fulfillment of design objectives
- Performs field inspections & oversees the procurement of all required permits.
- Maintains complete and current project files, correspondence and documents.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in architecture with related project management experience
- Professional knowledge of the principles and practices of architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage the design and implementation process for projects within established time and cost constraints. Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules.
- Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a design team, coordinate design and planning projects, and develop concise reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Able to travel 15-20% to view retail sites
