Carter Lumber’s architectural millwork division is seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to install custom wood products, cabinetry and wall panel systems on commercial projects. This role emphasizes craftsmanship, teamwork and professionalism on every jobsite.

Ideal candidates read plans accurately, perform precise field-fit work, and are willing to travel to project locations as needed. OSHA/First Aid certifications are a plus, with opportunities for growth within a growing division.

Qualifications

• Experience installing commercial cabinetry or architectural millwork preferred.
• Ability to read architectural plans and shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Install custom wood products, cabinetry, casework, solid-surface materials and wall panel systems.
• Read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings and installation details.
• Field-fit, trim, scribe, level, and fasten products to meet project requirements.
• Complete installations accurately and efficiently per CAM quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors and general contractors.
• Identify field conditions or installation concerns and communicate them promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Care for company tools, equipment, vehicles and materials.
• Complete punch-list and warranty work as required.
• Follow all safety requirements.
