Qualifications

• 0-8 years of experience as an architectural lighting designer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Theater, or Lighting Design with a basic understanding of architectural lighting.
• Sound knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
• MS Office Suite.
• Revit/BIM experience required.
• LightStanza, Climate Studio, and Rhino a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple project schedules and deadlines.
• Be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in creative problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative and team environment.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize design ideas for lighting projects.
• Perform CAD and Revit drafting for project documentation.
• Conduct AGI lighting calculations for designs.
• Create 3D Studio and Photoshop renderings and InDesign presentations.
• Produce fixture specifications and detailing.
• Support meetings and presentations with project teams.
• Develop lighting mock-ups and physical models as needed.
