Actalent in Suffern, NY is seeking an Architectural Job Captain to lead project coordination and construction document production from design development through construction administration. You will work with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• 3+ years architectural experience, preferably in multi-family or affordable housing.
• Strong Revit skills and experience producing construction documents.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of NYC and New York State building codes.
• Experience coordinating consultants and managing project deadlines.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites throughout the New York metro area.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination and construction document production from design development through construction administration.
• Lead multi-family, mixed-use, affordable housing, preservation, and NYCHA projects.
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Manage multiple project filings, drawing sets, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and support project delivery efforts.
• Apply NYC and New York State building codes to project designs.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for design and documentation.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and existing condition assessments.
• Support construction administration, RFIs, and design revisions.
