Job summary

Konik in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Project Captain / Architect to lead technical design and documentation for large-scale commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects. This role emphasizes precise detailing, complex coordination, and high-quality construction documents.

You will collaborate with senior staff, manage junior teammates, and ensure design compliance with zoning, site planning, and building codes while integrating architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical

Qualifications

• AAS degree in Architectural Drafting or a Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture
• 7+ years of professional experience in architecture with commercial or industrial building projects
• Revit proficiency
• Strong construction detailing, specifications, and building code knowledge.
• Solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Project experience with industrial or mission-critical projects
• Architectural licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in precision detailing, complex coordination, and high-quality documentation for large-scale commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects.
