Job summary

Garver's Buildings Team in North Little Rock is seeking an Architectural Intern, an in-office position for an architecture student to gain hands-on experience across design, construction, and project management of public and private facilities. You will help develop floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings while collaborating with engineers and staff on sustainable design and documentation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit are preferred; 1–2 years remaining

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years remaining on architecture degree from an NAAB-accredited program by Spring prior to internship term.
• Strong desire to pursue a career in Architecture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work alongside licensed architectural professionals in design, construction, and project management of facilities in both public and private sectors.
• Develop project documents including floor plans, elevations, technical components, presentation drawings and 3D renderings.
• Collaborate with building-related engineers and specification development staff.
• Gain exposure to sustainable design and construction practices including documentation.
• Participate in project construction administration activities such as meetings, RFIs, and observations.
