Job summary

HOK is seeking an Architectural Student Intern in Boston to perform basic architectural tasks under detailed guidance, preparing and modifying documents, elevations, sections, and details with CAD/BIM tools. The role emphasizes sustainable design and teamwork.

You will develop 2D drawings and 3D models, create presentation boards, and support project teams while committing to green workplace practices and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an architecture or related degree program.
Previous internship with an architectural or interior design firm preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details using CAD/BIM.
Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
Build models or project boards for client/project team review.
Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
