Job summary

REES Associates, Inc. invites motivated Architectural Intern or Interior Design Intern to join our Dallas design team. This role offers hands-on experience in design development, drawings, and construction documentation within a collaborative, innovative environment.

You will assist senior architects and designers with design concepts, 3D modeling, site visits, and presentation materials while developing skills in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of an architecture or related design program.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and sustainable design principles is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects and designers in developing design concepts and preparing presentation materials.
• Support the creation of detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using industry-standard software.
• Conduct research on materials, building codes, and sustainability practices relevant to project development.
• Participate in site visits and assist with on-site inspections to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate project deliverables and meet deadlines.
• Contribute to the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
