Job summary

Rineer Designs LLC in York, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Architectural–Interior Design Technician to join the design studio on-site. This drafting-focused role supports the President–Director of Design and the team in developing accurate construction documents from established design concepts.

Responsibilities include producing AutoCAD construction documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, millwork details, and coordinating with contractors and engineers.

Qualifications

• Education or professional training in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Drafting, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and experience producing residential architectural/interior construction documents.
• Knowledge of residential construction, IRC, and IBC is helpful.
• Experience with field measuring and existing-condition documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate AutoCAD construction-document sets.
• Prepare floor plans, foundation plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Produce interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and interior details.
• Develop detailed drawings for kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, millwork, and outdoor spaces.
• Coordinate information with contractors, engineers, and vendors; review drawings for accuracy and constructability.
