Job description
The Architectural Glass Technical Consultant serves as a subject matter expert supporting commercial glazing, and window film projects through technical consultation, product expertise, specification guidance, and problem-solving. This role works closely with architects, façade consultants, glazing contractors, fabricators, developers, and internal sales teams to ensure proper product selection, performance optimization, and successful project execution.
- Provide technical expertise on architectural flat glass projects and glazing systems
- Support architects, façade consultants, and contractors with product recommendations and system compatibility
- Advise on energy performance, thermal stress, solar control, safety glazing
- Conduct technical presentations, training sessions, and educational seminars
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
- Support field troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution
- Stay current on industry standards, glazing regulations, and emerging technologies
- 10+ years of experience in architectural glass, glazing systems, façades, window film, or technical consulting
- Experience working directly with glazing contractors, fabricators, developers, and commercial project teams
- Proven ability to provide technical consultation, product recommendations, and specification guidance
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience conducting technical training sessions, or product education
- Hands-on experience with field troubleshooting, technical issue resolution
- Willingness to travel as needed for project support, client meetings, and technical presentations
