Klein & Hoffman, Inc. seeks Architectural Engineering interns for our Chicago, Milwaukee and Philadelphia offices. We provide 70 years of expertise in investigating, planning and designing structurally sound buildings while delivering creative solutions for clients.

This internship offers a well-rounded experience across project delivery stages and on-site construction observation. You will assist with design, site investigations, and repair designs, learning in a collaborative environment.

Competenze

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program or completing a Bachelor’s degree with intent to enroll in a Master’s degree program in Architecture or related field.
• Motivated, takes initiative and has curiosity & desire to learn.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite; basic knowledge in Revit preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist in preparation of design, construction documents, and solutions to building envelope rehabilitation projects.
• Work with Project Managers or Inspectors to conduct on-site investigations, condition assessments, and construction observations.
• Assist in preparation of designs, repair quantity calculations, sketches, diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Research and maintain conformance with building standards, established architectural practices, and applicable building codes.
