Klein & Hoffman, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering intern to support our Chicago, Milwaukee and Philadelphia offices.

The role involves performing routine engineering calculations, field investigations, and assisting in the preparation of design and construction documents. Interns will do drafting with CAD or Revit, compile structural data, and learn through hands-on projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Structural Engineering or related field.
• Motivated, take initiative, and eager to learn engineering skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine engineering calculations by hand or using structural software.
• Conduct field investigations and construction observation.
• Assist in preparation of design, construction documents, and general/ engineering solutions.
• Perform basic drafting work using hand drawings, CAD or Revit.
• Compute and compile structural engineering data as requested.
