Qualifications

• Three (3) years recent industry experience (architectural, engineering, or construction).
• Experience with commercial buildings or construction document preparation using AutoCAD, Revit software, and/or other design software.
• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Instructional duties: prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in courses assigned.
• Create and model a quality learning environment for diverse learners.
• Structure classes and curriculum to meet program and course outcomes.
• Prepare and utilize instructional materials and syllabi.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries.
• Provide office hours and student support outside class.
• Incorporate current technology in teaching environments.
• Maintain student records and documentation.
• Attend meetings and participate in department/school activities.
• Utilize technology to access and input student data.
• Ensure facilities, equipment and materials are secure and safe.
• Abide by college policies and participate in program reviews.
• Update curriculum to maintain currency and effectiveness.
• Perform other instructional duties as assigned by the Dean.
