Job summary

Alliance Exterior Construction is seeking an Architectural / Construction Drafter to join our growing engineering department in the Baltimore area. The candidate will translate design intent into clear shop, fabrication, and installation drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.

Recent graduates or early-career drafters with exposure to architectural and construction drawings are encouraged to apply. This full-time role offers growth within the engineering and preconstruction team.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or 2+ years in architectural/construction drafting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and coordinated details.
• Develop drawings for architectural metal panels, curtain wall, storefront, roofing and waterproofing interfaces.
• Review drawings for conflicts and constructability.
• Coordinate drawings with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, GCs, and manufacturers.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and takeoffs.
• Develop field dimensions and existing-condition drawings from project information and field measurements.
