Job summary

Sheladia Associates, Inc. in Rockville, MD is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our hands-on design team. This full-time, in-office role emphasizes Revit modeling and detailing, collaboration with the project team, and support across feasibility studies through construction.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of architectural experience, a degree in architecture, strong drafting skills, and proficiency with Revit, with AutoCAD as a plus. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture or related field required.
• 1–3 years of architectural office experience.
• Drafting principles and procedures knowledge.
• Proficiency in Revit required; AutoCAD preferred.
• AXP/licensure path encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on production tasks under supervision to ensure high-quality output.
• Perform Revit modeling and detailing with the team.
• Assist in feasibility studies, narratives, reports, drawings, and documents production at all stages of design and construction.
• May travel for project-related activities.
• Coordinate the work with other junior professionals and consultants.
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and using standard techniques and guidance on projects.
• Competent in general conventional aspects of architecture.
