Job summary

Exyte in Albany, NY is seeking an Architectural Designer to prepare complex Construction Documents and deliver technically sound solutions under the supervision of a Lead Architect. You will collaborate with design and technical teams, produce reports and graphics, and ensure drawings meet coordination and constructability standards.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential, with familiarity in SketchUp/FormIt and MS Office.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Associate’s degree is preferred.
3+ years of architectural experience.
Proactive problem solver with collaborative mindset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with large projects is a plus.
Experience executing projects with Revit is desirable.

Responsibilities

Work closely with design and technical teams to develop design deliverables including Construction Documents (drawings and specifications).
Assist with reports, studies, and graphics using common software.
Assist the lead architect to determine intent and content of each architectural model or drawing.
Perform duties of AutoCAD and Revit operator as needed.
Review drawings for completeness, constructability and coordination.
Coordinate architectural models and drawings with other design disciplines.
Other duties as assigned.
