Job summary

SOM in Austin seeks an Architect to lead portions of projects with leadership supervision. You will prepare and review diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings and animations while coordinating with teams and clients.

Ideal candidates have a professional architecture degree, 4+ years of experience, and strong Revit/AutoCAD/Rhino and rendering software skills, plus Google Workspace proficiency. This role emphasizes collaboration, precision, and technical execution on diverse project scales.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience or equivalent knowledge and abilities.
• Licensure process is close to completion; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, parametric and rendering software, and Adobe Suite.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Actively leads distinct portions of a project with periodic supervision.
• Produces, coordinates and oversees diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings and animations.
• Communicates effectively with project teams, consultants and clients in writing, verbally and visually.
• Contributes to design concepts with strong conceptual design ability.
• Integrates interdisciplinary criteria to move design forward on project portions.
• Collaborates with project, consultant and client teams to evaluate ideas critically.
