Reliable Home Improvement is a family-owned and operated company that has been in business since 1967. We specialize in high-end residential remodeling projects, including room additions, kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, and basement conversions.

As an Architectural Designer, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed conceptual architectural drawings and 3D renderings using CAD and BIM software.
• Work with clients to understand their needs, develop project designs, and manage expectations and vision.
• Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, zoning laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Research, maintain and update CAD library with innovative materials and construction methods.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including structural engineers, superintendents, and architects, to ensure projects move smoothly to next phase of construction drawings and execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in CAD and BIM software, such as Auto CAD, Chief Architect, Sketch up, 20/20 with strong background in residential remodeling.
• Creative Vision: A strong artistic sense and the ability to translate ideas into practical designs. Great special planning is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for client and team interactions.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve design and structural challenges.
• Knowledge of Codes: Understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other professionals.
