Job summary

AECOM is seeking a creative and experienced Architectural Designer to contribute to high-quality projects from concept through construction administration. Often referred to as a job captain, you will lead task teams, solve design and technical challenges, and ensure delivery on time and within budget while guiding others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture and 4+ years of related experience or equivalent
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize architectural drawing sets across SD, DD, CD, and CA
• Apply industry knowledge to solve design and technical challenges
• Collaborate with Project Managers, lead designers, BIM leaders, and QA/QC reviewers
• Coordinate work across disciplines and departments
• Exercise independent judgment in designing and reviewing concepts
• Advocate for process improvements and adapt to new workflows
• Build consensus across teams and stakeholders
