Job summary

Woolpert is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Mission Critical practice within our Buildings Team, with offices in Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Charlotte and Miami, offering a hybrid work schedule. The role focuses on performance‑driven, highly complex facilities for world‑leading technology clients.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Architecture with 6+ years of experience; a Master’s is preferred. Proficiency in Revit, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and a minimum of 6 years related architectural experience.
• Master’s Degree in Architecture is preferred.
• Strong design, execution, and problem‑solving skills. Experience on complex projects a strong asset.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest architectural technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit for project development and documentation; MS Office and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall design and execution of projects, from concept through completion.
• Work directly with firm leaders and with clients at some of the world’s largest technology companies on complex, challenging projects.
• Apply a blend of collaborative thinking, creativity, and technical proficiency to ensure that our clients’ ambitious multidisciplinary projects are realized to the highest standards.
