ThreeStudio Architecture and Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Architectural Designer to join our practice and lead design development in NYC. This role combines strong design sensibility with technical expertise and mentorship for junior designers.

You will collaborate with partners and consultants, directing presentations and drawings while staying current with trends and regulations to deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions for diverse projects.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture is required.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience across all project phases.
Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar software.
Skilled in visualization and presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead design development from concept through construction documentation across a variety of project types.
Collaborate with partners, engineers, consultants, and other disciplines to deliver integrated, innovative, and sustainable design solutions.
Direct and oversee the preparation of design presentations, drawings, and technical details, ensuring accuracy and excellence.
Mentor junior designers, offering guidance on design best practices, technical standards, and professional development.
Participate in client presentations and meetings, effectively communicating design intent and project vision.
Stay current with emerging trends, building materials, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
