Job summary

MGD+LLC is a boutique design studio delivering high-quality residential architecture for developers and private homeowners. We seek an experienced architect to contribute innovative design ideas from initial sketches through final construction documents, coordinating with clients and consultants.

You will work independently on multiple projects, balance workloads, and leverage strong design and communication skills, with proficiency in Revit and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong design skills to transform conceptual ideas into architectural solutions.
• Independent work capability with multiple projects.
• Proficient in Revit; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop).

Responsibilities

• Contribute design ideas and problem-solving across all project phases from sketches to construction.
• Collaborate with Project Leader and team to shape project vision and objectives.
• Create design, construction, and CA document sets aligned with studio standards and leadership guidance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure precise documentation.
• Source and specify building materials compliant with codes and aesthetics.
• Create visual presentations to communicate design narratives and proposals.
• Balance responsibilities across multiple projects and meet schedules.
