Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) in Los Angeles seeks an Architectural Designer II to support higher education projects from early design through construction under supervision.
You will develop documents, coordinate with consultants, perform code research, assist with specification development, and help mentor junior staff, with a hybrid work model.

The Architectural Designer II is an early career level technical architecture role that is responsible for assisting project teams with a range of project types from early design through construction under the supervision of a seasoned Architect and/or Project Designer. This role requires demonstrated proficiency in technical development and experience in code research, consultant coordination and construction documentation. This individual has the ability to work with moderate to minimal supervision. This position has its focus on Higher Education market sector projects, with opportunities for other market sector projects. The individual in this role is expected to further develop and employ critical thinking skills while working under the direction of a project architect in responsible control.
