Job summary

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in architecture or related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field is required.
  • Autodesk Revit software experience is required.
  • Strong creative and visualization skills are essential.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and organized approach are required.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) is expected.

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an Architectural Designer I to join our growing design team. In this role, you will support the design/build process through architectural drafting, modeling, and rendering while assisting with design development and project documentation. Responsibilities include gathering field measurements and existing building information, preparing design concepts, and collaborating with project teams to develop creative and functional solutions. The position may also involve meeting with clients and consultants to discuss project requirements, review design concepts, and support project planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Assist project lead in organization of the project documents - drawings, renderings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Update design and check drawings accuracy.
  • Gather all the information needed to complete accurate drawings.
  • Review and understand project scope and contract for professional services.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
  • 0-3 years of experience in architecture or related field.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field
  • Autodesk Revit software experience required.
  • Strong creative and visualization skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and be organized.
  • Must possess the able ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, including strong skills in Excel, Work & Outlook.

Environmental Factors and Working Conditions

The work environment for this position is a typical office environment with occasional construction site visits. When in the office, the physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time. Intermittent movement, such as accessing centrally located office equipment, lifting of 35 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing, may be necessary to perform the requirements of this position. Site visits may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be worn as required on project sites and in the warehouse.
