Job summary

Cedar is seeking an Architectural Designer in Austin, TX to develop and document Cedar projects using Revit and Cedar’s proprietary software. The team blends architects with product builders in a hybrid office setting, four days in the office and one day remote.

The role reports to the Studio Director and offers opportunities to learn cross-functional workflows, improve design outputs, and advance toward greater autonomy. Licensure in Texas may affect title and duties.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in an architectural office working on projects.
• Strong design and documentation skills in Revit. Proficiency in Rhino or Enscape is a plus.
• Education: 4-year BS in Architecture, 5-year BArch or MArch degree

Responsibilities

• Model Residential Projects in both Revit and Cedar’s proprietary software
• Create Construction Documents
• Assist with presentations
• Learn about and contributing to agentic workflows that improve quality and accuracy of architectural outcomes
• Grow your architectural skill set to gain greater autonomy and to advance in your career
