Walrath Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Designer to join our client’s team in a full-time, permanent role based in New York. You will master site planning, interior design, and exterior facades while ensuring code compliance and ADA accessibility throughout design and construction.

The ideal candidate holds an architecture degree, has 1–3 years of commercial architecture experience, and is proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop, with strong design and creative skills.

Qualifications

• An architecture degree is required.
• 1–3 years of architecture and design experience is a must.
• Commercial architecture experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Master site planning and space organization, along with expertise in interior design.
• Design compelling exterior building facades and ensure functional layouts.
• Ensure compliance with New York Building Codes and ADA regulations throughout the design and construction phases.
• Create and manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and relevant agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate efforts with the consultant team to ensure cohesive project execution.
