Job summary

BRR Architecture, a national architectural design firm, seeks an Architectural Design Staff in Austin to contribute to project coordination, production of construction documents, and cross-discipline collaboration across retail, commercial, and multi-family projects.

You will participate in architectural research, design development, and program-wide implementation efforts, while supporting production efficiency and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
• Licensure not required.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex architectural issues.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of teammates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials, building products, constructability and processes.
• Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration and Structural disciplines.
• Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
• Attend project and studio meetings.
• Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
• Assist in problem solving of production issues.
• Responsibility for ensuring success of project.
• Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
• Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.
