Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc is actively seeking an Architectural Designer to join our Jacksonville, FL team. You will collaborate with the Design Manager, Project Director, and other stakeholders to turn concepts into technically sound architectural solutions while contributing to documentation and BIM modeling.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and a solid understanding of building materials and detailing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 2–5 years of architectural design experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience developing architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong visual, technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, residential, or other complex building projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials.
• Produce accurate architectural drawings and 3D/BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or comparable software.
• Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and models with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Assist with material, finish, fixture, and equipment selections.
• Incorporate client and project leadership feedback.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
• Prepare permit and construction documentation.
• Support teams in resolving design and documentation issues.
• Maintain organized project files and ensure drawings are updated.
• Assist with site visits and field verification.
