Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our growing Denver design team.

You will translate concepts into practical, visually compelling, and technically sound architectural solutions, collaborating closely with the Design Manager, Project Director, and multidisciplinary stakeholders. Bring 2–5 years of relevant design experience, strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 2–5 years of architectural design experience (internships included).
• Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience developing architectural drawings and construction documentation.
• Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong visual, creative, technical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Experience on commercial, institutional, healthcare, residential, or complex projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials.
• Produce accurate drawings and 3D/BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Assist with material, finish, fixture, and equipment selections.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
• Assist with permit and construction documentation preparation.
• Support teams in resolving design and documentation issues.
• Maintain organized project files and update drawings through the lifecycle.
• Assist with site visits and field verification as required.
