Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc is seeking an Architectural Designer to turn concepts into practical, visually compelling architectural solutions. You will work with the Design Manager and Project Director, collaborating with architects, engineers, project managers, contractors, and stakeholders through design and documentation.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2–5 years of relevant experience with strong Revit/AutoCAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• 2–5 years of architectural design experience preferred (internships included).
• Strong proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation materials.
• Produce accurate architectural drawings and 3D/BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or comparable software.
• Assist with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate drawings and models with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Assist with material, finish, fixture, and equipment selections.
• Incorporate feedback from clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and project leadership.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
• Prepare permit and construction documentation.
• Support project teams in resolving design and documentation issues.
• Maintain organized project files and updated drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with site visits and field verification.
