Job summary

Base Power Company is seeking an Architectural Designer to develop and refine design solutions for nationwide infrastructure projects, from manufacturing plants to corporate spaces. You will own presentation drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation, coordinating across disciplines and ensuring design quality.

The role requires 3–5 years of commercial design experience and an NCARB-accredited degree, with licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial and technical design experience; NCARB- accredited degree in Architecture required.
• Architectural license preferred, or actively working toward licensure.
• Direct experience with corporate headquarters or flagship campus design projects is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with AI visual concept tools.
• Strong coordination and delivery on complex, multi-phased capital projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design & Model Production: Develop architectural design solutions across projects, producing presentation drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation.
• Independent Execution: Perform architectural assignments with general direction and minimal direct supervision, balancing independent focus with collaboration.
• Building & Code Compliance: Assist in the review, development, and execution of design documents that satisfy local building codes, life safety standards, and accessibility regulations.
• BIM & Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Lead multi-trade BIM coordination, integrating MEPFP systems into architectural design sets.
• Research & Field Context: Research construction materials and products, and analyze existing structures to inform design documentation quality.
• Construction Administration: Support construction administration tasks, reviewing submittals and field inquiries to keep builds moving forward.
