Job summary

Concord Engineering Group, Inc. in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a Project Designer for its Power & Infrastructure Department to develop design packages, BIM models, and construction documents for industrial power generation projects.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers to translate engineering intent into buildable deliverables, lead design reviews, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements. The role supports growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, drafting, design technology, or related field (preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience in industrial, power generation, or infrastructure design.
• Advanced experience with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM360.
• Experience developing coordinated BIM models and construction-ready design packages.
• Experience supporting construction, procurement, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate design packages, drawings, and BIM models.
• Coordinate multi-discipline design activities and maintain alignment with project scope and schedule.
• Incorporate engineering calculations, specifications, and system requirements into design outputs.
• Resolve design issues and integrate approved changes into drawings and BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.
