Job summary

MBX Architecture in Boulder, CO is seeking a full-time Project Designer / Architecture Associate to join a small, collaborative firm. The role offers growth, mentorship, flexibility, and involvement in the full design process, with hybrid work options.

You will collaborate with the Principal and Project Manager on diverse projects, contribute to architectural drawings, and develop design concepts while pursuing licensure. Remote and in-office work are supported.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Revit for architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Principal and Project Manager through design process and construction administration.
  • Develop details and architectural documents using Revit.
  • Develop design concepts, sketches, and architectural solutions.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, and contractors to align scope and budget.
  • Produce high-quality architectural drawings communicating design intent.
  • Select finishes and materials; assist interior design concepts.
  • Apply codes, materials, and sustainable design knowledge to projects.

MBX Architecture is seeking an enthusiastic full-time Project Designer / Architecture Associate with a passion for design and a desire to grow with a small, collaborative architecture firm. This position provides opportunities for growth, mentorship, flexibility, and contributions to the full design process in a collaborative positive work environment.

What You'll Be Doing In This Role
  • Working with the Principal and Project Manager throughout the design process, including construction administration.
  • Developing details and architectural documents using Revit.
  • Developing design concepts, presentations, sketches, and architectural solutions.
  • Communicating with clients, consultants, and contractors to develop designs that fit the scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Producing high-quality architectural drawings that communicate the design intent and scope of the project.
  • Selecting finishes and materials and helping develop interior design concepts.
  • Using your knowledge of codes, materials, and sustainable design to develop high-quality projects.

Salary Range
  • $55,000-70,000 a year
  • Compensation will be based upon qualifications and experience
