We are seeking an Architectural Designer to support the design and delivery of complex, high-visibility projects within secure and highly regulated environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who is proficient in Revit and enjoys collaborating across architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines.
Due to project requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
What you’ll do
- Develop architectural design and construction-documentation packages from concept through construction administration.
- Produce accurate drawings, models, details, schedules, and presentation materials using Revit.
- Coordinate architectural models and drawings with structural project disciplines.
- Participate in model coordination, clash-detection reviews, and design coordination meetings.
- Help ensure documents align with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, client standards, and project-specific design criteria.
- Support site visits, field verification, existing-condition documentation, and responses to construction-phase questions as needed.
- Maintain drawing quality, file organization, model standards, and document-control procedures.
- Work closely with project architects, project managers, engineers, consultants, and client representatives.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting architectural design and production for commercial, institutional, aviation, federal, government, transportation, or similarly complex facilities is strongly preferred.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Autodesk Revit is required.
- Experience with Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
- Working knowledge of construction documents, architectural detailing, building systems, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative project environment.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to the nature of the work.
- Ability to satisfy project-specific background-screening, badging, and site-access requirements.
Preferred experience
- Aviation, airport-terminal, airfield-support, federal, military, secure-facility, or other mission-critical project experience.
- BIM coordination experience in a multidisciplinary design environment.
- Exposure to construction administration, RFIs, submittals, field observations, or punch-list support.
- Progress toward architectural licensure is a plus, but not required.

This position offers the chance to contribute to technically complex, high-impact infrastructure and secure-facility projects while working with an experienced multidisciplinary design team. You’ll have meaningful involvement in Revit-based production, consultant coordination, and the delivery of projects that demand a high level of precision and professionalism.
