Job summary

Waterstone Human Capital in Utah is seeking a senior Residential Architectural Designer to lead the full design cycle from concept to construction documents, working directly with clients in a small, fast-paced studio.

You will model homes from scratch, meet with clients, and review construction documents to ensure codes and HOA compliance. This is an in-office role with flexible hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design or drafting.
• Proficient in Revit and Bluebeam.
• Solid working knowledge of construction processes, codes, and requirements.
• Detail oriented, with strong follow through from concept to completion.
• Comfortable owning a design across every phase, not just one specialty.

Responsibilities

• Model custom homes from scratch, developing and revising designs through each stage.
• Meet with clients in person or virtually to gather requirements, present design options, and walk through revisions.
• Research applicable codes, HOA guidelines, and city requirements for current projects.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure client requests and design changes are carried through accurately.
• Prepare models for virtual reality walkthroughs.

You'll model a custom home from first concept through final construction documents, working directly with clients instead of through layers of process. About The Role
